Longing for an Alternative to Pinterest

A few months ago, I started my search for an alternative to Pinterest. Then, I became enamored with the idea of having my own app—dedicated entirely to my own collection of images, visual inspirations and creative references. I built something tailored to exactly what I needed and wanted, a quiet place without the ad-heavy, algorithmic feeds.

I wanted a place that wasn’t connected to another company’s server or a place locked behind an account to manage. I wanted something that didn’t feel like a project management tool and something that wasn’t social media. I don’t need a place to “share” or to “discover.”

This app is part of my journey to break away from the algorithm and one of the many steps in my Big Tech Migration.
